Czech cuisine typically involves pork or beef and is served with dishes like dumplings or fries. Fish does not form the main ingredient of food but is widely available these days. Some of the renowned Czech desserts include fruit dumplings, crêpes or ice cream. Tourists who are seeking fast food can taste the Czech hot dogs with mulled wine which are available from the street vendors widely in the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square in New Town. If you want to have Western-style of fast food, you can explore the area around Wenceslas Square, which have the concentration of some popular chains.

As most restaurants become very crowded during lunch and dinner time, so it is better to make the reservations beforehand or enjoy the food before the locals step in. If you want to have a more formal kind of food then you can visit the restaurants in the Old Town Square. It is also an excellent place to people watch.

Prague is situated on the River Vltava and is considered to be one of the most beautiful European cities. The historic centre of Prague is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts many tourists every year. Prague Castle is considered as the largest ancient castle in the world.
